Trauma Coaching with Rachel Sutherland
Rachel Sutherland is a Trauma & Abuse Therapist and Coach who helps people overcome the effects of trauma, neglect and abuse and enables them to reconnect with themselves.
Rachel understands how the effects of trauma, neglect and abuse can lock us into patterns of behaviour that work against us and prevent us from being able to live fully in the world. She believes that these effects are due to how we’ve naturally and understandably responded to the experiences that have happened to us, and that none of us needs ‘fixing’.

Rachel prefers to form a relationship of equal collaboration with her clients so she can come to an understanding of their particular difficulties and challenges and work with them to help them move past these.
Rachel has worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years. Initially in the role of a support worker. During this time, she was struck by just how many people were not living the lives they deserved through no fault of their own. She trained in NLP and EMN (Eye Movement Neuro-integration) in order to help people break free and become more of who they were always meant to be.
Since then, Rachel has been privileged to help people referred to her by local charities and also works privately. She is a Master NLP Practitioner in Holistic Health & Wellbeing and an EMN (Eye Movement Neuro-integration) Therapist.
She trained with Sulis Consulting in association with the Global NLP Training and Consulting Community.
Rachel lives in the UK in Suffolk with her partner, where they share a home with their cat, Binky, and dog, Greco.
